Investigators say Gainesville man broke into 5 cars. Do you have security footage of him?

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — A Gainesville man accused of breaking into a series of cars in Hall County is behind bars.

Joseph Phillip Morone, 27, was arrested on Friday on a warrant for entering a vehicle on Tradition Drive in Gainesville.

Since Friday, property crimes investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office have charged Morone with four other cases of breaking into vehicles.

Those crimes happened at homes on Mill Creek Road, Elrod Road (two incidents), and Esteva Place.

Investigators are asking the residents in those areas to please contact them if they recognize Morone or have security camera footage of vehicle break-ins between the dates of Oct. 18 through Oct. 20.
