Gwinnett police arrest man they said sold drugs at Checkers

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Police say a fast-food worker was serving up more than burgers and fries.
 
An undercover officer says he bought drugs from the Checkers employee three separate times.
 
Gwinnett County police arrested 34-year-old Derek Stargell. They say he had cocaine, meth and heroin on him at the time.
 
Stargell worked at the Checkers on Buford Drive in Lawrenceville.
 
Stargell was charged with three counts of sale of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

He is currently being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
