GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A customer who says he’s eaten at a Gwinnett County Vietnamese restaurant hundreds of times is concerned to learn it failed a recent health inspection.
We found out it was actually the second inspection I Luv Pho on Satellite Boulevard failed this year. Customer Troy Johnson says the food is great.
He calls it some of the best Pho he’s had in metro Atlanta. Johnson says he was very surprised to learn the restaurant his family goes to often got an inspection score of 68 on May 26.
Johnson says his family has even eaten at the Duluth restaurant at Christmas. He’s says he’s shocked that I Luv Pho failed.
Violations included food debris on utensils and equipment that was supposed to be clean, food on line reach in cooler not cold enough and uncovered food in the walk in cooler.

When we went to the restaurant Tuesday they had a score of 86 on the wall. That’s what I Luv Pho got on a re-inspection in February after failing with a 36.
We are waiting for a comment from the management about what is being done to correct the current violations.
The restaurant has been warned that a third failure could result in their permit being suspended. We’ll let you know the new score when the re-inspection is done within 10 days.
