GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources is warning about a person claiming to work for them to get inside your home.
The department says the imposter is mainly targeting Spanish-speaking families in the Norcross area.

The impersonator will knock on a family’s door and offer to collect free lead and copper samples.

But real employees of the department will never ask to enter someone’s home for testing.
“If anyone claiming to be a Gwinnett County employee asks to take water samples from inside your home, please do not let them in.”
