70-year-old man with dementia found safe

BUFORD, Ga. — UPDATE: Mr. Martin has been found safe and unharmed.

Gwinnett police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 70-year-old man with dementia.

Gregory Martin was last seen at the Millian Eye Center off 1995 Mall of Georgia Boulevard.

Family called police after he walked away from the eye center’s waiting room and they couldn’t find him.

Police said Martin just moved to Georgia from Florida, doesn’t know his new address and has no cell phone with him.

Martin is a Black man described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has dark hair, black eyes, a black and gray beard. He also wears reading glasses.

Anyone who has seen him or has more information is urged to contact Gwinnett police at 770-513-5300.
