Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns said the capsule flew across Georgia, rattling parts of the state with a sonic boom as it broke the sound barrier.

Channel 2 Action News viewer Amanda Philips Moore sent Burns video of the capsule streaking across the sky with the sound of a low rumble.

“I just got a really cool video of the SpaceX Dragon coming home! And about 5 mins after it passed, I was able to hear the boom!” Moore wrote. “What a cool experience and had to share it with my favorite weather guy!”
