ATLANTA — Atlanta police say a person hit and killed on Interstate 75/85 northbound had jumped out of an ambulance.
We're talking to authorities about the unusual crash for updates on Channel 2 Action News at 4.
Georgia Department of Transportation initially described the man as an "angry patient." Police say he jumped out of the ambulance and was hit by a pickup truck.

All lanes of the downtown connector northbound were closed Monday morning. Atlanta police, paramedics, the medical examiner and other authorities were called to the scene.
The man was later identified as 23-year-old Andrew Hill.

Police haven't said why Hill was in the ambulance or why he jumped out.
