ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News has learned that a Georgia Tech student was robbed inside of his on-campus apartment.
Georgia Tech police said the student woke up Sunday morning to find two men in his room stealing his laptop.
He told police one of the men aimed a gun at his head before taking off.
Both suspects were described as black men in their late teens or early 20s, according to the AJC.com. One was wearing a white t-shirt and red basketball shorts. He was armed with the handgun. The second suspect had short dreadlocks, a black hat, khaki tan shorts and a black backpack.
This latest incident follows a string of recent robberies of Georgia Tech students. Last Friday and Saturday, three students were robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents near the campus.
