NORTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Four people were injured in a crash involving a Fulton County school bus Friday afternoon in Johns Creek.
Police say the crash happened on Jones Bridge at Douglas Road.
The bus driver was one of the four injured in this crash.
The bus involved in this crash is Fulton County Bus #1198. It was carrying students from Lake Winward Elementary School when it was hit by a truck.
The driver of that truck has been charged with a crime. Police say the driver ran a red light just before hitting the school bus.
A witness told Channel 2's Matt Belanger that the area is dangerous.
"It breaks my heart. I see one, at least two accidents per week during rush hour," Devon Crawford said.
Paramedics took one student to the hospital. Parents of the other three picked them up at the scene.
We're told the bus driver has minor injuries.
