Former GA pediatric nurse sentenced to prison for distributing “depraved” child pornography

COLUMBUS, Ga. — A former pediatric nurse practitioner in Columbus, Ga. will spend 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing child pornography.

William Clinton Storey, 41, of Preston, was sentenced to 180 months in federal prison followed by 10 years of supervised release. He will also have to pay $67,000 in restitution to his victims. He will also have to register as a sex offender for life.

“William Storey will spend a significant period of time in prison for his role in distributing large amounts of the most depraved depictions of child sexual abuse online—a criminal act made even more disturbing knowing he was a pediatric nurse practitioner at the time of his crimes,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Peter D. Leary.

According to court documents, Storey had uploaded five files of suspected child pornography on Snapchat in 2019. Agents searched his home and business and found approximately 6,000 videos and 24,000 images of child pornography on his devices.

“The files contained depictions of babies, small toddlers, minors engaged in bondage and male and female prepubescent children being sexually abused by adult males,” officials said.
