GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A suspect in a number of car break-ins was arrested, and local investigators credit the use of the Flock camera system to help nab the individual.
Glynn County police used the camera system to find the suspect after six break-ins were reported in the Harbor Oaks Condo subdivision on St. Simons Island between Aug. 30 and 31.

A resident’s camera recorded suspicious activity of someone dropping off another person who apparently was looking through people’s vehicles, according to a police press release.
Investigators used the resident’s footage to identify the suspect’s car as a white Dodge Charger with black rims and a black tailfin. They then used the Flock cams on St. Simon Island to identify the suspect’s car.

It was registered to Deandre Smith, 32, of Hinesville. Since Smith registered the Charger, the suspect had a legal name change to Destiny Schon.
Police arrested and charged Schon with six counts of party to entering an automobile. Schon was released on bond Tuesday.
