NewsChopper 2 flew above the scene on Limbaugh Valley Drive where police had taped off a large scene around a house in the neighborhood.

Officials said they do not believe there is an additional threat to the community.

Channel 2’s Michael Doudna saw two men being patted down and placed into police vehicles, but they were not handcuffed.

Police have yet to say who died, but a witness said through a translator app that two people got into an argument outside the house before someone pulled a gun.

On the scene a shattered car window and a bullet hole through the driver’s side door was visible.

Henry County police said they responded around 10:36 a.m. and were able to secure the scene but would arrive too late, to save two lives.

“I was shocked, once I saw the crime tape. I didn’t know what was going on,” one neighbor told Doudna.

Neighbors say the owners of the home were very pleasant and from China.

“They were very quiet,” a neighbor said. “They would wave when walking their dogs.”

The police didn’t provide additional information.

“Things like that just don’t happen in this neighborhood. It’s a very quiet neighborhood,” the neighbor said.

But Wednesday, the quiet neighborhood became a crime scene as family and a neighborhood dealt with the fallout of a deadly shooting.

“My prayer is hopefully the family will be able to get through what’s going on, and hopefully the neighborhood will all come together and support one another once they figure out what’s going on,” the neighbor said.
