ATLANTA — A Georgia man says he was panicked when he got a call from someone claiming to be an FBI agent and told him he was linked to financial crimes.
Edison Jorquera told Channel 2 Consumer Investigator Justin Gray that the alleged agents told him his name and identity had been used in a financial crime ring.
Gray spoke with an actual FBI agent about the elaborate scheme and how to protect yourself, LIVE on Channel 2 Action News at 5:00 p.m.

Later on, Jorquera had a video call with them where they wore FBI jackets and had the U.S. Department of Justice Symbol on the wall behind them.
“It says on my phone, Federal Bureau of Investigation. Then you start panicking, right?” Jorquera said.
