ATLANTA — A system of storms moved through north Georgia early Tuesday morning, prompting Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for many of the extreme north Georgia counties.

There were some damage reports showing trees down in some areas where the storms moved through.

Severe Weather Team 2 had been tracking the storms all day Monday after the Storm Prediction Center issued a Level 2 of 5 risk for the far north counties in the Channel 2 Action News viewing area.
Here’s what you need to know for Tuesday:
- It will be dry to start the day.
- Temps will warm up into the mid-80s by the afternoon.
- There will be another round of isolated, potentially severe storms that will move through the metro during the early evening hours.
