DJ Shockley to join team for Thursday Night High School Football

ATLANTA — WSB-TV is proud to announce former Atlanta Falcons quarterback DJ Shockley will be joining the rest of the WSB-TV crew as a commentator for Thursday Night High School Football.

Shockley served as quarterback for the Falcons from 200-2008.

He also part of a weekly radio show on the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network from 2006-2007.

His many honors include Winner of the 2005 Bobby Bowden Award which is presented by the Fellowship of Christian Voters, and was also honored by the Georgia State Senate and the House of Representatives in 2007.

Shockley attended the University of Georgia  where he was named the 2005 MVP in the SEC Championship Game after passing 112 yards and two touchdowns and running for another score against LSU.

Thursday Night High School Football will be aired on MeTV, digital channel 2.2, WSB-TV’s second digital channel.
