Deputies searching for man who vanished after leaving mother’s home in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. — Jackson County deputies are searching for a man who vanished after leaving his mother’s home in Hoschton Saturday night.

Deputies said John Henry Myers left his mother’s home around 11 p.m. and was driving to his sister’s house off of Winder Highway but never arrived.

Myers was driving a 2018 silver Honda Civic with Georgia tag number TAF0950 and an Atlanta Braves plate cover.

Myers is described as five feet eight inches tall and 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office or the Hoschton Police Department.
