GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Center for Cosmetic and Sedation Dentistry said they would be offering fillings, extractions, and cleanings for free. Procedures were limited to one per person, so they could serve as many people as possible.
“It is our way of saying thank you to the community and to help those in need of dental services,” they said in a statement.
Patients were required to be at least 14 years of age and accompanied by an adult if under the age of 18. They were based on a first-come, first-served basis.
They said they have free services annually on the Saturday following Labor Day. This year's event took place at the Center for Cosmetic and Sedation Dentistry, located on Duluth Highway in Lawrenceville.
There were no appointments or registrations allowed prior to the event.
The office said they would be handing out 225 numbers for the people in line in order to guarantee a spot beginning at 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
