LITHONIA, Ga. — A mother whose son was killed on Valentine's Day is praying police are able to give her answers about what happened to him.
Angela Brown told Channel 2’s Lori Wilson when police arrived at the scene, they found her son lying in the turning lane of the road.
“He loves to sing and that was his life, listening to music and singing,” Brown said about her son, Billydee Williams, 28.
Brow said Billydee was diagnosed with schizoaffective bipolar disorder and would walk to relieve anxiety.
When she didn't hear from him Friday, Brown said she got worried.
“Then I just started feeling like something's not right because it was getting dark and he hadn't called me,” Brown said.

She told Wilson that's when detectives called saying Billydee’s body was found in the road.
“It's been tough for the entire family. This has been a major loss for us," Brown said.
Brown said the Ring camera on the front of her home recorded the last moments Billydee was seen alive, showing him leaving the house just after noon on Friday.
Detectives told Brown they don't know what type of car hit her son and kept going, but they are investigating.
In the meantime, Brown told Wilson that she is heartbroken and has a lot of questions.
“They said he was hit by a car but when they brought me his shoes there were no scuff marks. There was nothing,” Brown said. “It was just unreal to believe that because he never walks in the street. And where they said they found him, he never walks that direction.”
Brown also said Billydee had a strange text and voicemail message on his cellphone
Wilson attempted to contact police but did not hear back from them Monday.
Brown said he did speak with detectives, who say they are awaiting the result of an autopsy before determining the cause of death.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
