STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A Dollar General location in a popular Stone Mountain shopping center has seen some damage after a late night fire.
DeKalb County fire crews responded to the store on Memorial Drive around 11 p.m. Monday night.

Firefighters saw what they describe as a “moderate” amount of smoke coming from the roof of the building and “heavy smoke” from the back.
Most of the fire was able to be contained in the rear storage area of the store.

No other businesses in the shopping center were affected and no one was injured during the fire.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
