DEKALB COUNTY, Ga.. — DeKalb County police have released a sketch of a man accused of shooting a driver in a possible road rage incident.
Police said the victim, Shane Doby, is now out of the hospital. His wife Hannah spoke with Channel 2′s Tom Jones about the events that unfolded on Aug. 31.
Hannah Doby told Jones the couple was heading to Stone Mountain for a hike and was traveling on the I-675 ramp toward I-285.
She said the driver of a black Chevrolet 2500 truck had been tailgating them, pulled up next to their car and rolled his passenger window down.
“I told my husband he’s got a gun,” Hannah Doby said. “About that time, I hit the floorboard and he pulled the trigger and shot.”
