ATLANTA — The President of Agnes Scott College is currently hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19.
Lee Zak has been admitted to Emory University Hospital.
"She is receiving exceptional care and at this point resting comfortably," Elizabeth Holder, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said in a statement. "This came as a surprise in that Lee has been extremely cautious and careful regarding health protocols to avoid exposure."

Officials aid the campus leadership team will continue the work of planning for the fall semester.
"This is a stark reminder that COVID-19 can impact anyone," Holder wrote.

Zak has been president of the college since 2018.
