Crews have completed removed thousands of gallons of water from a pond on Roswell Road.
Pressure from heavy rain on Wednesday compromised a dam, destroying a pedestrian bridge at The Falls at Sandy Springs apartments.
Sandy Springs City Manager Bryant Poole said they removed a lot of water.
"Some 35,000 gallons an hour are rushing through there," Poole said.

Lanes were shifted until around 11 a.m. Friday when work was completed.
Crews evacuated nearly 100 families Thursday morning, but by Friday morning, all evacuations were lifted.
Dan O'Neill has property behind the apartments and the pond. Since the draining started, he said his normally dry basement has been underwater. He's convinced that some of the drained water got redirected through a city pipe onto his property.
"Our basement's been ruined as a result of somebody's misappropriation of water or whatever. Something's going on," O'Neill said.
