ACWORTH, Ga. — A convicted felon is back in jail and is now facing more than 100 felony counts of child exploitation.
Channel 2′s Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell dug more into the convicted felon’s background.

Christian Harris’ arrest warrant from 2014 is similar to one from this year. The charge is the same, but investigators allegedly found much more inside Harris’ home than they did in 2014.
He’s accused of downloading more than 100 videos of child pornography.

Neighbors in an Acworth neighborhood live near Harris, who they say they knew nothing about, until recently.
“He should be in jail. He should stay in jail because that’s not acceptable,” neighbor Tara Harris said. Tara is not related to Christian.
Christian Harris, a registered sex offender, is back in jail for child exploitation.
“It’s crazy because I’m supposed to be watching my nephews and my niece over here. Now that I know he’s here, I don’t want to bring them over here,” Tara Harris explained.
Christian Harris has been in jail since agents searched his home in late April.

Newell spoke with a neighbor who was around when agents searched his home. She didn’t want to be identified.
“I saw three unmarked vehicles parked in the area. Putting stuff in the trunk of their car,” the neighbor explained.
The warrant from 2014 shows Christian Harris was arrested for downloading images of child pornography on his laptop. He was later convicted and has been on probation.
“I’m very concerned about the kind of people that they’re bringing into our neighborhood with that kind of background,” the neighbor said.
