COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A store clerk is OK after an SUV smashed into a store and nearly crushed him.
Junior Patel was behind the counter at Big Shanty Supertte on Thursday when a BMW X6 drove right into the building.
"Car started rolling a little bit and next thing you know, it's in the store," Patel said.
The driver apparently forgot to put the car in park, and when she went to stop it from rolling, she hit the wrong pedal and went through the window.

"I'm OK for right now, but I think my ankle is starting to hurt a little bit, so I might go get it checked out," Patel said.
Patel said the driver initially stumbled out of the car and fell on the floor.
"She was still on the ground and struggling. Her ankle looked like she had a cut on her ankle and stuff, so we called 911 and next thing you know, she was OK," he said.
Police had the SUV towed and crews started working to repair the window.
"Luckily she didn't get hurt. I didn't get hurt. We're all blessed, thank God, but we've got a lot of cleaning up to do," Patel said.
