CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: Family members said 70-year-old Hinson Jarvis and 7-year-old Nathan Jarvis were found. Hinson is being evaluated at the hospital and Nathan is at home safe.

Clayton County police are searching for a missing 70-year-old man and a 7-year-old boy who left their home in Ellenwood Wednesday and haven’t been seen since.
Police said Hinson Jarvis and Nathan Jarvis left their home on Homestead Road around 6 p.m. in the same car. It’s unclear how they are related.

Hinson Jarvis has shown early signs of dementia, family members said. He’s described as a Black man with black hair and brown eyes who is 6′01″ and weighs 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt.

Police describe Nathan Jarvis as 4′01″ with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs 60 lbs. and was last seen wearing blue basketball shorts, a gray and green Nike shirt and black and red sneakers.
Police said they left together in a 2005 Nissan Maxima with Georgia tag #RIB7240. It’s unclear which direction they traveled in.
