ATLANTA — Chick-fil-A is now combining two menu favorites to create a refreshing new treat; frosted lemonade.
The company released the new menu item at restaurants nationwide Monday. The treat combines two of the chain’s most popular menu options; fresh squeezed lemonade and its signature Icedream.
“We always knew customers loved our lemonade, and we always knew they loved Icedream. But we never thought to combine the two to make a completely original treat that isn’t a milkshake or even a smoothie,” said David Farmer, vice president of menu strategy and development for Chick-fil-A.
The company tested out the recipe at its South Carolina, North Carolina, California and Arkansas locations Spring 2014. Positive customer feedback confirmed Chick-fil-A’s decision to launch the treat for customers nationwide.
