CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Officers from three agencies are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Cherokee County.
Bartow County officials say a man committed a crime before jumping into a police cruiser and driving away.
Investigators say the man led police on a chase that ended on Hwy 92 at Dixie Dr. in Woodstock in Cherokee County.
The man who stole the car was shot by deputies.
Police say the suspect has been transported to a hospital.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations has taken over the investigation of this officer-involved shooting.
