CANTON, Ga. — Canton police officers are asking for the public’s help after a bomb threat was called in to a local business Saturday.
According to police, officers responded to a bomb threat at Ulta beauty store, located at 1810 Cumming Highway in the Canton Marketplace, at about 2:15 p.m.
Canton Fire and Cherokee sheriff’s officials assisted in moving people to a safe area away from the store upon arrival.
A K-9 searched the building and no explosive device was located, according to police.
Detectives are investigating the incident and said additional information will be released when available.
They are asking that anyone with information about the incident call 911 or the Canton Police Department at 770-720-4883.
