Cab driver shot 3 times

COLLEGE PARK, Ga.,None — College Park police are searching for the person who shot a cab driver three times.

Police said the victim picked up the shooter, and then drove to the Old Town Villa Apartments on Godby Road.  Officers said the passenger opened fire on the driver at the apartment complex.   

The victim works for Day and Night Cab.

One of his co-workers drove to the scene after learning what happened.

"It's rough.  You just have to be careful and watch your step," said driver W.R. Dunson.

Officers said the driver's injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.  No arrests have been made.

Last month, the same company lost driver Jack Rainey after he was shot and killed on the job.

Police made an arrest in that case.
