ATLANTA — Cameras captured the terrifying moments as a man fired shots inside of a restaurant at the Lenox Square Mall on Mother's Day.
Dozens of people were eating at Zinburger when police say Alexander McDaniel pulled out his gun and started shooting.
As diners inside the restaurant hear the shots, panic ensues.

The video shows diners running towards to the door. One mother grabs her son and rushes out the restaurant’s front doors in fear.
From another angle, you can see McDaniel getting up from the bar after paying his tab. Police say he then slapped another man on his head before walking off. That man then gets up and confronts McDaniel.
“For whatever reason one of the male subjects gets up and slaps that other male and a fight ensues,” said Sgt. Warren Pickard.
The two men started throwing punches.
“They’re on the ground wrestling. Somewhere a gun got produced and several shots were fired,” Pickard said.
Police say after firing the shots, McDaniel managed to get away. He was caught hours later. Officers were able to find him because he paid for his meal with a debit card.
McDaniel is due in court May 23.
