ATLANTA — The Atlanta-based chicken company is warning consumers after some of its food products had undeclared allergens in them.
Chick-fil-A addressed the claims on its website, stating that a supplier had unintentionally added an undeclared dairy allergen to the company’s grilled filets and grilled nuggets.

“Food safety and quality are our top priorities. We take great care in adhering to stringent food safety procedures,” Chick-fil-A said.
The company is working with its supplier to fix the problem to make sure the mix-up doesn’t happen again.

Also, the company will ensure that the allergen is removed.
Chick-Fil-A apologized for the situation, saying that it understands and takes the trust of its guests seriously — making sure its food is how guests expect it to be.

“Our priority is that our impacted guests can enjoy these products again soon,” the company said.
Chick-fil-A has more than 2,400 restaurants in 47 states.
