ATLANTA — Though many people think Georgia has the worst roads in the country, a new report says it’s quite the opposite.
According to QuoteWizard, Georgia has the best infrastructure out of any of the other states in the country when it comes to roadways and bridges.
“Our team of analysts found that poor roads and bridges cost drivers an average of $556 every year. Nationwide, nearly 20% of America’s roads and 5% of bridges are currently in unacceptable condition,” QuoteWizard said.
The company said they looked at things like the cost of repairing roads and the cost of repairing your car to help come up with their formula by looking at the states with the worst road infrastructure.
