ATLANTA — Police announced the arrest of a second suspect in the shooting death of a man near the Atlanta BeltLine.
Thomas Arnold, 60, was shot to death on Feb. 26. His body was found by neighbors the next morning near Elizabeth Street and Bernina Avenue, which is near the Freedom Park Trail BeltLine Connector.
Police released surveillance photos of three men of interest. Two days later, police announced the arrest of 28-year-old Brandon Williams.
Authorities identified Williams as the gunman and he is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, amongst other charges.

Atlanta police said another suspect, Demetrice Ross, 26, was arrested Wednesday in Morrow with the help from the US Marshals service.
“You may be able to run, but you will not be able to hide,” Atlanta Deputy Police Chief Charles Hampton said.
APD said the investigation into this case remains open.
“We are proud of the work our investigators put into each of their cases and we are pleased to have these two felons off our streets,” investigators said in a news release.
