ATLANTA — Police are investigating a homicide in southeast Atlanta.

Atlanta police told Channel 2 Action News a man was shot and killed on Woodland Avenue early Thursday morning.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
Investigators did not say if anyone was taken into custody and what led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
