Gwinnett County native Lou Williams started in place of Young and led the team with 21 points. Bogdan Bogdanović went lights out from 3-point range and scored 20 points.

“A total team effort,” Hawks coach Nate McMillan said.

“Everybody played with confidence. Everybody played at a high level,” Williams said. “Going back to Milwaukee, we’re going to have to bottle it up and take it with us.”

The sold-out Tuesday night game at State Farm Arena saw the Hawks leading throughout the majority of the game. This comes after two losses after a tight win in Game 1 in Milwaukee.

A win tonight forces a game 6 back in Atlanta after Game 5 leaves the Peach State for Milwaukee.

Young got tangled up with an official during the third quarter of Sunday night’s Game 3. Young inadvertently stepped on the right foot of referee Sean Wright, who was standing out of bounds, and hurt his ankle, pulling him out of Game 4 to recover.

Tuesday night’s Game 4 also saw the Bucks’ star player Giannis Antetokounmpo fall out of the rest of the game after injuring his knee with a few minutes left in the third quarter.

“We’ll see how he is tomorrow,” coach Mike Budenholzer said. “We’ll take everything as it comes. We’ll evaluate it. We’ve got a heck of a team, a heck of a roster.”

Game 5 tips off Thursday, July 1 at 8:30 p.m. in Milwaukee.
