Four armed Atlanta teens chase man off of rooftop before being arrested

ATLANTA — Police have arrested four young Atlanta men who they say are behind a string of armed robberies, one of which ended with a man breaking his leg.

Officers said they were responding to a robbery call on Courtland Street earlier this week where a man said four people tried to steal his cell phone and hit him in the face. He was able to get his phone back from the would-be robbers who then ran away.

While responding to that call, officers received another call that a man in the same area had been robbed and fallen off of a rooftop.

As officers were on their way to the second call, they noticed four men who met the description of the first victim. When the suspects saw the police car, they ran from officers. A short time later, they were captured with three handguns.
