Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College unveils mascot bobbleheads

ATLANTA — Two Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Atlanta will now have some new swag to add to their school collection.

On Friday, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum released the first Morehouse College Maroon Tigers and Clark Atlanta University Panthers bobbleheads.

The schools are part of the series, which features 16 officially licensed bobbleheads for HBCUs.

According to the museum, the bobbleheads coincide with the start of the 2023-24 school year.

The Morehouse College and CAU mascot are proudly wearing the school colors in front of a backing featuring the school logo.

“Bobbleheads are often passed down from generation to generation, and we think the bobbleheads in this new HBCU Series will certainly become cherished keepsakes,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said.

The Morehouse Bobblehead just arrived and ships now while the Clark Atlanta Bobbleheads are expected to ship in October.

Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,023 and is $35 each, plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of every bobblehead goes back to the respective school.

Other universities included in the series are Albany State University, South Carolina State University and Florida A&M University.
