Channel 2 travels to Texas with Gov. Kemp, set to tour crisis unfolding at Mexico border

ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News anchor Justin Farmer will tour the Mexico-US border Tuesday with Gov. Brian Kemp.

Right now, tens of thousands of people are living in squalor along the border trying to get into the United States. Border agents have been overwhelmed.

Farmer is traveling with the governor to McAllen, Texas where part of this crisis is unfolding. Kemp said he wanted to see the border crisis firsthand.

He will be joining 25 other Republican governors as they call on President Joe Biden to take action.
