ATLANTA — Trucking companies spoke to Channel 2 consumer investigator Jim Strickland about their frustrations trying to navigate around the collapse of Interstate 85 after a massive fire Thursday night.
"The drivers are (saying) it's just complete chaos," said trucking company owner Josh Adams.
He said many of his Northside deliveries to clients of Bad Wolf Trucking were stuck in gridlock Friday.

"We've had three trucks on Peachtree Street this morning for over three hours. We actually brought some of this equipment back so we can park it until we do night shifts," Adams said.
"Just take the perimeter and maybe back roads, as long as you can take a truck on 'em. That's the only strategy I got until the boss man tells me something new," added driver Greg Baldwin.

The collapse only piles on more trouble for truckers dealing with Atlanta traffic, which has been highlighted in a recent stinging report.
The American Transportation Research Institute issued a report in January that the metro has seven of the nation's top 100 truck bottlenecks. Three of them involve I-85.
No. 1 on the list: Spaghetti Junction.
