ATLANTA — One random act of kindness led to two big donations at a local healthcare center.
Tracy Warshal, a scheduling coordinator at Piedmont Healthcare, helped a man pay for his groceries at an Aldi in Smyrna after he forgot his wallet.

The man made a $10,000 donation to the Piedmont Healthcare Foundation in her name.
“Just by my first name and the (Piedmont) T-shirt I was wearing, and he donated $10,000,” Warshal said.
After hearing the story, Aldi company officials decided to step in and match the anonymous donor’s gift by donating another $10,000 in Warshal’s honor.
“On our daily journey you never know what someone’s dealing with,” Warshal said. “If you are able to do a small gesture for someone, just do it. It can make a world of difference.”
