ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves have revealed new details about the mixed-use development that will go up next to SunTrust Park.
The Braves held a news conference Wednesday to announce the area will be called The Battery Atlanta.
The site will include a number of restaurants known to Atlanta diners, like Antico Pizza and Fox Brothers Bar-B-Q.

Braves chairman Terry McGuirk explained the baseball theme in the development's name.
"One day, The Battery got on the table, the battery being the pitcher and catcher in baseball," McGuirk said.
The Braves put new high-resolution pictures on their website.
The Battery will also include residential space, an Omni Hotel and the Roxy Theater.
