TROUP COUNTY, Ga. — Deputies in Troup County are trying to solve a cold case and are asking for the public’s help.

On April 18, 2021, around 1:15 p.m., deputies found 52-year-old Alan Huguley Sr., of LaGrange shot to death.
According to the sheriff’s office, Huguley was in a car on Briley Road near Stovall Road. Investigators said the car was riddled with bullets and Huguley was shot several times.

Investigators never identified a suspect to charge with the murder. Anyone with information is urged to call Troup County investigators at 706-883-1616 or Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
