CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. - A 7-year-old Cherokee County boy is in critical condition Wednesday night after a sledding accident.

Channel 2's Craig Lucie shot video of children he’s seen sledding all day.

The accident happened in a neighborhood near Highway 372 in Ball Ground.

Lucie just talked to the EMS chief in Cherokee county who says parents should not allow their children to sled in certain areas because it is extremely dangerous.

Paramedics couldn't life flight the boy to the hospital, so he had to be transported by ambulance. He remains in critical condition at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.
