DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Three children who were missing for hours have been reunited with their family.
Police are questioning the woman who brought them home Friday morning.
According to police, the children, ages 4, 5 and 6, disappeared from a playground at the Carriage Oaks Apartments in Clarkston around 7 p.m. Thursday.They were found in the apartment complex with a neighbor on Friday morning.
Channel 2’s Liz Artz was there for the reunion and spoke to their parents.
“They felt like they were going to a neighbor’s house,” Brhanu Nune said.
Police went door to door at the eight buildings of the apartment complex before the children were found. Police said the area is a tightly knit Somalian community.
Investigators initially said that they did not suspect foul play.
