ATLANTA — The Oscars brought the top stars to Hollywood Sunday.
And it brought out some of Atlanta's top community-minded citizens, including several WSB-TV staffers.
While millions gathered around their television sets Sunday night to see who will take home an Oscar, hundreds gathered at the Cobb Galleria Centre for the 19th annual Red Carpet Gala to celebrate the 87th Annual Academy Awards.
Each year, the event benefits the Atlanta nonprofit The Center for Family Resources. Justin Farmer and Jovita Moore served as emcees for the evening. Attendees included city officials, executives from Fortune 500 companies, celebrities and community members.
Throughout the week, WSBTV.com users voted for what dress Moore should wear. Which one was the winner? Here's the reveal:
The night included a walk down the red carpet, dinner and a live auction. But one of the best parts of the night is witnessing Atlanta turn into Tinseltown as the Academy Awards airs on WSB-TV.
What is it like to walk the red carpet with fans calling your name, trying to get a photo or autograph? See for yourself:
The Center for Family Resources helps families in need become self-sufficient and contributing members of society. In past years, more than $360,000 has been raised for the center.
Anyone think Justin Farmer was having a good time?
