Hephzibah man wins 2015 Cadillac CTS

ATLANTA — A winning Georgia Lottery instant ticket has produced a brand new vehicle for one lucky Hephzibah man. Rodrigquez Willis, 40, has won a 2015 Cadillac CTS playing the instant game Cadillac Riches.

Georgia Lottery representatives presented Willis with the keys to his new vehicle Friday at Heritage Cadillac, 7134 Jonesboro Road in Morrow.

Spee Dee Foods, 503 Gordon St. in Thomson, sold the winning ticket, and Willis scratched it while at home.

“I couldn’t believe it,” the lucky winner recalled.

A supervisor for Kimberly-Clark, Willis has two children.

He and his wife, Tabitha, will use the vehicle as a “weekend car.”

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $16.5 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.4 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
