ROSSVILLE, Ga. — Emergency crews had to rescue a North Georgia man after a house collapsed in on him.
It happened along Walnut Street in Rossville Friday afternoon.
The city’s public safety director said two men were in the process of demolishing the house when it collapsed.

“It was just a very loud boom and then all of a sudden I hear police and fire and ambulances,” neighbor Kelli Williams said. “They just literally cut him out and brought him out through the roof.”
One of the men escaped but another was trapped in the wreckage for more than an hour.
Once he was rescued, the man was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
