Deputies discovered his body floating off Highway 76 near a dock close to the edge of the water in Lake Chatuge on Sunday, March 26.

Deputies say Anderson’s body was discovered wearing the same clothing he was wearing when he was running from deputies.

He was positively identified by his driver’s license, which was still on him.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating and the body was taken to the GBI crime lab to determine a cause of death.

No foul play is suspected.
