Funeral Set For 2-Year-Old Left In Hot Van

JONESBORO, Ga. — Funeral services will be held on Saturday for a 2-year-old who died after being left in a hot van in Clayton County.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Jazmin Green at Divine Faith Ministries International, 9800 Tara Blvd., in Jonesboro at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The owner of Marlo's Magnificent Early Learning Center, Marlo Fallings, her 16-year-old niece and her 23-year-old daughter, Quantabia Hopkins, have been charged with involuntary manslaughter, cruelty to children and reckless conduct in the death of Jazmin Green.

After returning from a trip to Chuck E. Cheese, Green was left in a van for more than an hour in temperatures in the 90s, police said.

Family and friends gathered outside the day care for a vigil Thursday night to remember Jazmin.

They carried candles and left flowers, stuffed animals and photos outside the day care center.
