ATLANTA — Family, friends and colleagues of a murdered Atlanta cab driver gather to say goodbye Saturday to Jacke Rainey.
Rainey was found dead in his Day and Night cab Aug. 7, just hours after he radioed in saying he'd been shot.
Police later arrested Danny Kirtz in connection to Rainey's shooting.
The family told Channel 2 Action News detectives told them Rainey had been shot four times and Kirtz had been found police said he bragged to friends about what he'd done.
Family said Rainy was working to help support his three children.
Funeral services were held for Rainey Saturday morning.
After the service, a procession of cabs led Rainey to the cemetery.
A memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo banks to help pay for the funeral expenses and support the Rainey's sons.
